Kathina Ceremony 2012 in Manchester

There was a Kathina-Robe offering ceremony at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Manchester that started at 9am on nov.4, 2012. The venerable monk led everyone in meditation and then the representative led everyone in pledging the verse to ask for the 5 precepts, then the verse to offer meals to monastic community, followed by am alms offering ceremony. After lunch, everyone form a line for a parade to present the annual kathina robes for the year 2012. The main representative for this year’s Kathina is Mrs. Piyaporn Wakefield and family. Everyone who came that day was happy and pleased with all the merits that they made that day.
